For those of you who r looking for piano scores, i hope these links help..
Note that you need Overture software from Geniesoft to open ".ove" files, GuitarPro to open some of the guitar tabs (dunno the format.. .gp?), and Adobe Acrobat Reader to open ".pdf" files..
- ABC Music (solo piano but not many songs available)
- Sheet Music USA (some classical n oldies for piano n guitar)
- Mr Piano (kinda like this one, has many new popular songs but mostly the songs r not for solo piano)
- Jay Chou Studio (as u might know from its name, for those who loves his songs, you can get the scores from here, password to open the files is provided there)
- 流行钢琴网 PoPiano (a site in chinese language, has lots and lots of chinese songs, some r .ove files, some r purely images.. the site has japanese, korean, n western songs too, midi files r available too)
- 虫虫钢琴 Chong Chong Gang Qin (similar to PoPiano but it also provides images and mp3 for the songs besides .ove n midi files.. that's what i love bout this site!!! :D uhm.. this site is in chinese)

oh but i found some of the links thru some friends in Multiply, you might want to look there (registration needed) :D

u can get the newest version of Overture (4) from Geniesoft's website.. http://www.geniesoft.com ... free demo, but u have to buy for the full version.. I got Overture 3.60 but it cant open .ove files that are made using Overture 4. :( still looking for the software, but they dont actually sell it here in my country.. :(
i'm sure there's a way to convert those .ove files to .gif, since most of the .gif files i have are from .ove files.. but i dunno howwwwwww.. i'm still looking for it too.. my Overture software can only export .ove files to .mid. Maybe Overture 4 can convert them?

hi again.. i found out what you can do to make .gif or any other image formats from .ove files.. it needs a bit of work though..
1. change your computer screen resolution till the Overture shows whole page.. i use 1280x1024
2. when viewing the ove pages, press "Print Screen" button on your keyboard
3. paste it to your image editor
4. save it as .gif or other formats u like
you have to do step 2-4 all over again for each page..
edit the picture to suit your needs :D
u can change ur screen resolution back after u finished :D

to change the screen resolution:
- on desktop view, click your right mouse button, choose Properties.
- Open "Settings" tab, and there you can see the "Screen Resolution" thing..
- Click OK
do the same to change it back..
I have uploaded Overture 3.10.. u might be able to use it to open old .ove files.. click the link below to download it.. :) extract the archive & run "Ovr310Full.exe" to install it :D

if u'r using windows, usually there's a picture n fax viewer or you can use paint.. you dont need any specific program or so.. ur OS must have something to view them.. just double click the file.. :D

mostly popiano's scores are in overture format (with .ove extension).. if the scores u downloaded are in that format, u need an Overture program to view it.. a friend nicely shared the link to download the program up there (see comment on May 30, 2007 2:32 AM) ^^
but i found some are just images, so u can simply view it with whatever image viewer available..
i have the song zhi neng he ni zai yi qi by fish & guang liang.. i'll post here once i upload it..

You can open the .ove files, and use something like "Print to PDF" or "Print to XPS". There are programs for you to work PDF/XPS to GIF/JPG/whatever...just get them to a more common medium.
